Trying to Sync DAW, Volca Beats and Sq-1

Hey everyone, I'm trying to sync my DAW (Live 9), Volca Beats and Sq - 1.

I was planning on using the SQ1 to sequence my soft synths. I didn't realise I couldn't use SQ 1 to send midi if it was receiving clock. Doh!!!

I've tried instead to sync the beats to Live 9 clock and then use the sync from the beats to the SQ1 and then back into Live.

The sync between Live and the Beats is flawless. The sync between the Beats and SQ1 is terrible. It's really late

I've tried messing with the midi delay sync in Live but it doesn't seem to have any effect.

Also used the iPhone SyncKontrol App and it seems to have the same behaviour.

Any ideas? Or suggestions?

pls check the sync-polarity in global settings
