My wish list:
• Proper arpeggiator
• Proper transpose function (preferably via external midi keyboard)
• 8 bars
• send midi cc from motion sequences
• The ESX's gate arp always triggered in time, the ES2's touchpad triggers as soon as your finger hits it, then plays in sync. This can sound sloppy if you don't press the pad exactly on the downbeat.

I've mentioned copy part from a different pattern before but thinking about it, it might not be so simple.....
IMPORT PART function
( a bit like xmix on emu command stations )
oh and reverbs on ifx if that's possible and melodic arps combined with the timing variations from the xy pad would be awesome.

E2S pattern write should export associated samples
On the E2S pattern write should export all associated samples if they need to be exported.
E2, E2S
I think it's something they can implement easily since it's not a modification to their VA engine. There are no complex coding that needs to be developed.roblabs wrote:If Korg would make this change in an update, that'd be one of the best things ever!jim555 wrote:Able to enter notes in step sequence using the keyboard mode instead of using the encoder.
They are already sending out MIDI note data. All they need to do is route that to the step sequencer.
This would make using the sequencer so much easier. Especially with arpeggio type of sequences.
I'm with you here Ted. My live set involves masses of muting and unmuting on patterns and the last thing I need when changing pattern is an Are you sure warning, I'm already trying to get the sounds right on 4 or 5 other synths. It should be there as an option for those who want it.Ted3000 wrote:There's no way for the e2 to tell when you're editing a pattern or simply tweaking one.Neon Seizure wrote:I would like some kind of warning when I am editing a pattern and accidentally move the mystery knob instead of the Oscillator knob, wiping out whatever changes I’ve made.
“Are you sure you want to change patterns without writing changes, you moron?”
That would help as I am running out of hair to pull out of my head.
With that "Are You Sure?" warning comes another click. Something as simple as a filter adjustment has "changed" the pattern, so for live playback that's not workable. You can to go to the next one, sometimes at the last second, without more fumbling for a button in dim stage lighting.
Maybe as an optional protection setting - set it on for editing, turn off for performance.

The one feature i would desire can't be implemented as it's hardware related. The old secuencer row underneath the pads, better for programming and playing. I'm not really able to tell which note I'm playing :I

Since a pattern is also a patch on E2S imported samples assigned to a pattern should be exported on pattern write if they haven't been already or if they have been modified.
Sample preview before importing.
Scrolling sample names that don't fit on the sample import screen.
