ES2 SDHC card speed?

i saw people using old SDHC card on ES2 the save&load samples speed is kind of slow... is it support SDHC UHS Class1/Class3?

so, wt card is great for sampler~?

I just switched from an old SD card to a new Class 10 SDHC 8GB and it's much faster when doing export all samples.

I have made opposite experiences while testing a bunch of different sd cards with the E2S: "Export all samples" was NOTICABLE faster with older sd cards (1 or 2 gb range) than with newer (and faster specified) SDHC cards. Sounds strange, I know ...

That is puzzling.

The card I'm using now is a SanDisk Ultra SDHC 8GB Class 10.

With all the factory samples plus many of my own 'export all samples' now takes less than an minute where previously it was taking more than ten or so minutes.

The old card was 2 GB.

Very interesting! So would this card be a good choice, for a faster sample export and start up?

Also, I got 99 seconds of sampling time with a 2GB SD, but I was told by Korg that a bank of samples could not go beyond 270 seconds of sampling time, and that you could not load up multiple banks at a time because of the RAM limitations of the device.

SOOO - My question is this. What would the benefit be in having a 32GB card? Presumably, if 99 seconds is 2GB, wouldn't a 6GB card get you past the 270 second limit anyways? If anyone has any explanation I am all ears! I am trying to decide what size card to buy and would rather not buy a more expensive one if I don't need to...

For exporting. Some of the Ableton sets you export could be pretty large, so having a bigger card gives you more room to store those.
