I finally installed the 3.03 update successfully. I have tried this many times and it took me about 6 times to be successful. I never had a problem before doing updates very frustrating but all is good now.

I'm hoping that they don't abandon the old mother board to the point where we can't update our faithful original boards while the New one continues to get more updates.
The sub-system firmware is specific to the hardware; this version addresses issues specific to the New Kronos. So, this has nothing to do with "abandoning" older models.

I have tried new USB and went back to old one where i updated to 3.02 and it read that file cause it says i can update to 3.02. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I will keep trying. Happened to me once. Changed my usb stick and that one worked.

You only copy the nine files not the "Manuals" folder.

For the Program editor, this is the correct operation of Tone Adjust and the editor has worked this way since the initial release. The editor is concerned with parameters which can be permanently assigned to the Kronos SysEx data and while this can be done for Combis and Songs, it can't for Programs. This is how the Kronos operates so the editor mirrors it. You will need to change these on the Kronos.
Does that also apply to the non-drawn boxes on the Poly6?

When I click on a control the empty box gets filled in with details for me.
I think it is meant to work like that, the box changes depending on what you have selected.

Correct. The box starts off empty and is filled with the appropriate additional parameters when a control is clicked on - if there are additional parameters available to edit.

I copied the manuals folder and it worked fine with everything else in the folder. It can be very tricky as i never had a problem before but its all good now.

The new editor seems to work smooth here in standalone mode in Win 7/64. No probems in the first half hour of use.

The fixed editor window size still is no joy to use with nowadays screen resolutions: it takes less than half of my notebook screen, wasting all the space, which would be available for better readability and functionality.

And yes, still no VST dll for 64bit systems.

The fixed window size is still a pain - it would be goodto be able to resize it - on my 21" monitor its really difficult to see the values on an MS20 patch

Also in MS20 patches I was unable to add patch leads - the double click to select a source didnt work

Hey, just a quick line: thanks Korg for keeping the beast alive.
Ok, I would like to have a 64bit editor as well, but Korg is doing great job keeping Kronos update coming. Bravo

I could slap myself! Yes, you have to change a parameter on the actual editor before any details are displayed - nothing will pop up if you edit directly from the Kronos.

The editor is a big help!

I don't tend to use it as a plug-in, so 32 bit stand-alone is OK for most of my needs.

It does seem crazy to not have 64 bit in 2015 though.

Especially given the release notes state that the new editor:
... allows you to save settings as part of your project with any VST compatible Windows software ...
I guess when they say "any" VST compatible software, they mean any 32-bit compatible VST software :p
