KPro+ and Akai MPD18

Can I output the MPD18 to the Kaossilator Pro Plus input, and then output the KPro+ to my MacBook and Garageband (without having to go through the MPD software at all)?

I haven't used the MPD in a while and want to see if it'll be compatible.
