No sound on note

I have just lost sound on an A note.. I think I have been thumping it too hard over the years....the mechanics of the note are fine just no sound...does anybody know if this is a simple fix for a repairman ? I'm assuming I cannot fix it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated..

The most common cause is a damaged rubber contact. I've successfully replaced these a few times on my old Pa1x and once on my 3x when one note started sounding louder than the rest.
Google Parts is Parts or Guitar Parts to find the supplier if you are game to do it yourself. The rubber Contact Strips are only a few dollars each.
