How to control Waldorf desktop module with MicroKey via Mac

Hi there! I'm new to Apple and usb midi setups and here is my situation: MicroKey is connected to Mac via USB and can control software synths on Mac without problems. I also have Waldorf desktop module connected to Mac via USB. In Audio MIDI Setup utility I can see both MicroKey and Waldorf and I was hoping to connect MicroKey output to Waldorf input, but MicroKey icon doesn't have in/out connectors to drag Waldorf in connector to. What I am doing/thinking wrong here? Thanks!

Usually you would start your DAW software (Logic?), create a miditrack pointed to the Waldorf, and turn input echo on.
