How to load partial "Set" in 32MB pa300/Havian

Post by ahrensjt »

Hi All,

The manuals say only how to load a Set - but most Sets are larger (for the pa600/pa900) and will not fit into the Havian/pa300.

How would I load just some of the sounds and/or styles from a Set? For example, just the User2 sounds from the Dopamine Set?

Thanks,
Jeff

Hello!
You can load styles and sounds manually by going to media-> load-> all (don't click load but open) and then open the sounds or style folder, choose and open the bank you want to load from and open it and then load individual sound or style! same for performances!
you may want to place them to the exact locations (eg user1 page5) and not to the first available to maintain compatibility with performances and/or styles that use these sounds!

Thanks.

One clarifying question: I searched before asking, and read in another post that when loading an individual sound, the underlying multisamples do NOT automatically load with it.

Is this correct?

Thanks for the tip on loading to User 1 Page 5.

If you load via Media/load/all, go to sound and load individually from there saounds, when u load a sound, will be loaded with multiasamples too. No need for another operation. Its just like pa600.
