Why doesn't the korg kross plug in work in DAW

This is really irking me that a the korg kross plug in wont actually act like a plug in for a DAW.... it will record MIDI just fine, but if you want to actually USE THE SOUNDS ON THE FREAKIN PLUGIN your screwed because it wont let you.

I have lines running in and out of my Interface from my Korg, which is then plugged into my headphones and speakers.

BUT NADA!

wtf.

Please help
