kaoss dj stand alone questions

Hello,

I have a few questions about the kaoss dj stand alone mode - looked at the manual but it only gives me more questions.

Are the eqs active in stand alone mode? Manual implies they are - I assume some digital eq?

Manual implies you can use one of the strips as a filter - one direction is high pass the other is low pass. Does this use the kaoss pad or can you use both this filter and another effect on the kaoss pad?

Manual says a long touch on one of the buttons switches to sampler mode. My understanding is the sampler is dependent on the computer software? Would be very happy if there was a kp3 style sampler built-in. Perhaps this mention in the manual is just a copy and paste error of the button use in different modes.

What is the max bars the looper can loop for? If no sampler I would like to be able to use the looper as a sampler for a few bars. Is there a knob to fade the loop in an out?

my channel has some other videos that demo most of the effects as well.

The EQ's are digital eq's that are active for each channel, the filter strip is active for each channel. All can be used while a different Kaoss pad effect is in use.
