Hi every one. I have just purchased a korg pa4x - 61 and since it does not come with a speaker. I am considering "Korg PaAS Optional Speaker System for Pa3X". Although I do have a PA system that I use at my home (which is very heavy), I have these questions:
1) I don't see "Korg PaAS Optional Speaker System" for pa4x but I do for Pa3X. Are they compatible?
2) how does it get installed?
3) at a $500. price tag, is there another alternative to have some sort of external speakers hooked up to it so that I can carry it out easier?
Thanks

2) same as 3x simple
3) Yes a small PA system. I have just bought a small PA and am selling my PAAS because it is cumbersome hanging on the front and not sufficient for live performing. A PA rather than a combo because the 4x has strereo piano

I use a Behringer powered mixer 1680 along with two very light Peavey PR-10 speakers for small gigs and run in stereo and it sound Fantastic! Nice and light and cost effective. The speakers arent the best, but I only use them because they are small and easy to carry.
I use two Yamaha MR Studio speakers in my practice studio rather than the PaaS system. I have never heard the Paas system so I can't comment on performance. they look VERY convenient having it mounted on the keyboard. I would probably pick up a set if were more cost effective, but for $500 there are better alternatives.

For me the PAAS is cumbersome it hangs over the front of the 4x gets in the way and not very space efficient indoors but that is purely my own opinion so I have sold mine and bought a small PA yamaha stagepas 400i great indoors and ideal for small-ish venueskbrkr wrote:I use a Behringer powered mixer 1680 along with two very light Peavey PR-10 speakers for small gigs and run in stereo and it sound Fantastic!
