Hi everyone,
I have a problem regarding the recording of samples on the kp3+ triggered via usb midi. I can record samples on any of the 4 sample banks by sending the appropriate midi noteon/noteoff couple from my laptop after having armed the sample button on the kp, but if I want to record a one shot and I resend the same note before the end of the recording the kp goes nuts, needing reboot.
It would be amazing if someone could replicate the problem (or even better to solve it!) and also check if it's happening also via standard MIDI (I can't check it for lack of phisical devices).
Thanks!
KP3+ oneshot via midi

I haven't had time.
But to recap..you trig start & stop you 1shot sampling, after manual arming. All good.
But then you try to trigger sample..before its finished recording?
Isn't that how you stopped recording 1shot in first place?
It's not quite adding up in my mind.
I have to say USB on kp3 did cause some problems ,but I'm no expert.I do prefer the old fashion way.I thought I had probs leaving USB cable connected on power up to computer ( due to storage device confusion) but that's maybe nothing to do with your prob.
If I get time I will fire lots if midi notes at it via old school midi, with record armed ,see if it locks up.

Thank you for the reply.
Actually the kp3+ crashes when I send it the second midi note, the one that stops the recording before the end and thus turns the sample into a oneshot.
I wrote about a "couple" because when I monitored the midi traffic I realized that actually every note is really two (a note on and a note off, with velocity 0), almost simultaneously, both when I send it from pc to kp and when I press any of the sample pads on the kp while listening from the pc. Hope that it make sense. Thank you in advance for any further investigation!
