Hi there, I have just made a track with the e2, volca keys and system-1.
I wanted to thank to all forum members for their support in solving doubts and the tips and tricks posted. They were really helpful.
Greetings!

Thanks Telengard!Telengard wrote:Great track! I hear a bit of a John Carpenter sound!
Hahah, is funny the John Carpenter thing u say. When I posted one of my first tracks made with the emx1 on 2015, someone said it was "like John Carpenter but with a different tempo". The funny thing is, I have never "listened" to Carpenter (I mean, getting an album and listening to it), but I read he made many soundtracks of movies I saw when I was a little kid. So, unconsciously I'm very influenced by that

By the way, I see u now have a minikp2 instead of kp3. Just wondering, is there something on the kp2 u like more than in the kp3? I was just thinking about buying a mini kp for my ms20, but I wasn't sure about it. I have a kp3 but I use it for the whole mix usually, so I need a effects processor just for the ms20.
I know what you mean by being influence by what you listen to. I listen to just about everything and when I am just composing melodies/rhythms without a plan, I end up with a variety of genres.FranciscoArellano wrote:Thanks Telengard!Telengard wrote:Great track! Well, my KP3 and my Kaosillator Pro got stolen so those ones weren't by my choice.

I found I prefer small and portable, so that was the reason behind the KP2 mini and it's ability to record.
I even rewired one of the Korg power plugs to a USB plug so I don't have to use batteries for the KP2 mini. And I rewired another power plug for my electribe 2 (I originally used it on my EMX before modding it to work with the e2) and I use one big multi-voltage portable battery to power all my devices.
Korg Gear: Electribe 2, microSAMPLER, Mini Kaoss Pad 2, monotron, nanoKey, nanoKontrol2, nanoPad2
Korg Apps: iMS-20, iElectribe, iKaossilator
Old Korg Gear: Electribe EMX-1SD, monotribe (with MIDI), Kaossilator Pro, KP3, SOS

Finally the minikp was faulty so I didn't buy it hahah, but thanks for your useful tips. I just got made a cable for my three volcas

Btw, I have just played and recorded the song again.
Just in case you would like to see the setup I used for it and stuff.

I ordered a MyVolt adaptor a few days ago to use with my external battery.
