Korg Triton PRO X as MIDI keyboard with Ableton

I'm using a 1x1 MIDI USB to connect the Triton to my computer (mac, not pc). I changed the global MIDI settings on the Triton. Local control is unchecked. MIDI clock is set to external midi, but I am not receiving any MIDI signal.

I was under the impression that I didn't need a driver for MIDI to function with MIDI-USB cables. If I do, can anyone give me a link where to download the correct driver?

Make sure your Midi channel is set correctly in both your DAW and on your Triton PRO X. Then, try testing your midi interface with another midi device to ensure it is working.
