Kaoss Pad 3 make weird noises and distortions

Hey I recently got a Kaoss Pad 3 as gift, wasn't new, but it won't work, it makes weird distortion noises that will stop if i move the program knob.
The only FX that work a bit is the LFO filter and the Synth, but still will make noise. Anyone any idea?

are you sending audio into the device? the lfo and synth make their own sounds from within the box, but all other effects require audio to be put into the system so that it has something to add effects to. it sounds to me like you are just hearing background line noise on all programs. does that make sense?

Hey thabks for you answer, yeah i've been sending audio, the noise comes with and without input audio.

yeah that is weird...seems to me like the touch pad works...have you tried new cables for the audio? if the touchpad works and the input works, my guess is that something is fried on the inside....
