No, it is not possible.
Korg pa3x has an ability to assign up to four different VP presets, because there is an appropriate lock, and each STS setting keeps an information about using VP preset.

Let me question in ather way:

in style mode can play eight diferent istrument's like:percusion's,drum's,guitar's,pad's and so one.

Can I set style variation A,B,C,D to play like:
in variation A:just bas and drums
in variation B:just guitar track
in variation C:all instrument's in style
in variation D:just drums

or can be dan in some ather way.In the same way I would like to turn on and off vocal procesor.

Thank you again

Patience my friend !!!!!!

VP - NO (as already answered)
VAR ACC volumes - NO is the quick answer but YES, if you edit the style's VAR-ACCs volume levels for each relative VAR CV (that would be a pain to do!!!!)

Would be a really nice option. I control this in some of my songs with pedal and switch settings (EC5 etc..)

Cheers

Performance-Parameters for Bgr-Tracks

As mentioned in "So what features are you missing on the Pa4x?" it should be necessary to re-implement VP-Presets to be memorized in KbdSets/STS as we had previously in Pa800/Pa3x. In case VP-Presets would be re-implemented by an OS-Update (i hope so) one could link KdbSets to Variation set StyleToKbdSet to blinking - so at least VP-Presets could be linked with selected Variations of a Style. But rather think Korg will continue reducing functionality for style-players.

To your question "in other way": it is an old tiresome problem not to be as flexible with performance-parameters of the background-tracks (drum, bass, accs) compared to the realtime tracks (upper1-3,lower). So if you want different sounds with different parameters in variations of style-tracks, it is necessary to edit that style and change each variation separately. In practice without changing original-style one has to make a duplicate of the style, although only he wants to change volume, soundprogram or mute-status of variation-tracks.
Also think Korg will not upgrade with background-performance- functionality while reducing similar functions at same time.
kind regards

I have some songs that require this and as this is specific to a song, I find it best to edit the styles.
If it is just a case of muting (or removing) tracks for VARs it is quite easy but as I said it can be a pain to do if you want deeper changes.
Just remember to check (for each VAR) if it has more than one CV as that will require track muting too.

Let me know if you need a hand.

Hi guy's,

like I can see,my little provocation work perfect...

Thank you Pete for your input, but sems cant't be don what i realy want to do.I am a Yamaha Tyros 5 player and would like to swich to Korg for simple reason.I dont like Tyros Guitar struming in Style's what Yamaha can reproduce.Korg can do this much betther like I can hear on You Tube...
In the same time I would like to know much about programing and seting's pasabilitys in my new instrument befor I buy it...
I am disappointed about haw we can programing main variation's on Korg and also thing Song book is not so powerfool toll like I thing...Like you explain ,all this manipulation can be don only on the "fly" in live gig. That is not acceptable cos in live gig player must be focus on the audience.
I know, all what I want to do can be don in DAW but like you say,can be painfolly and spend a lot time siting on the PC.

Dont know really if someon from Korg read this forum, but I thing they shuld...

Once again, thank's you all who repond on that topic and i am shure in future definitly I need your "hand's"...

Regards
