sounds on Police "Every Little Thing She Does is Magic&

Post by hand solo »

After searching this forum, the net, and the Busch files :), I can't find what synth Jean Roussel used on this Police song to try and duplicate on the Kronos.

Looking for the string / steel drum (?) patch in the chorus, the portamento slide on the bridge part at "always be alone", and the synth bass part at the end. If someone could at least give me some waveform ideas on these, it would give me a start.

thanks gurus..this is a busy song for one keyboard player in a little ol' cover band !

And it will definitely take some talent to cover the vocals and drums

I know that they were using the Moog Taurus for bass quite heavily in that period. That's quite a simple beast, so shouldn't be too hard to reproduce to a point.
