I don't know if this makes any sense, but I've exhausted all my options trying to make KLC wavestation to work inside Mainstage, so it occurred to me that maybe I just run the standalone app, and set it to play from a virtual midi port, and set that port as output in a Mainstage external instrument strip. It kind of works, but I get a lot of stuck notes, so much that I need to reset MIDI.
I set the virtual MIDI port in Mac's IAC MIDI Driver, I set Bus 1 online, and select IAC Driver Bus 1 in the Wavestation preferences, and so on the Mainstage Ext instrument strip MIDI Output settings.
Can anyone please let me know if what I'm trying to do is possible, or is there any other way around? I really need the Wavestation sounds in my concert, as it is really hard to emulate the original sounds.
Help appreciated.
