Korg iWavestation apparently coming soon

Just googled iWavestation and came across the podcast. Apparently the Wavestation will be available on iOS later in the year so it could be this month or next month as 2016 is nearly over anyway. The only snag is that there will be no gadget so far but just a stand alone app which I find a strange move. Anyway I am looking forward to this.

Great, I'd buy that instantly.

I wouldn't worry about it being standalone either. The Arp Odyssey was made standalone, yet it still comes up inside Gadget. This is a great idea as it suites all kinds of people, like me for example.

I have no use for Gadget, but I use the standalone apps all the time.

The Korg iWavestation has landed

Good news is that it is compatible with iPhone and iPod Touch as well as IPad

Bad news is that there is no Audiobus, IAA or Gadget support yet.

It is strange how there is no mention of the iWavestation on the Korg website and it only shows in the iPhone section of the App Store.

Install the latest Gadget update and iWavestation gets installed as Milpitas. Just installed it on my iPad and iPhone.

The description on the app store doesn't mention Audiobus and IAA support for some strange reason but I just tried it out and iWavestation does indeed support it which is good news. Also it was a pleasant surprise to see Korg Gadget updated with the iWavestation gadget.
