USB to disk songs

Post by bnabbout »

I am recording midi songs using sequencer and saving them to USB.
When I go to song play mode and select the song on USB , I am not able to copy it to disk (or vice ver sa from disk to USB ). If I highlight the song and press menu I get (export song list, show song number, show song extension, create new folde, rename, delete).
If I highlight the song،press select, then press menu I get these options (write performance, save song marker, solo track, easy mode).none of these options help me to transfer songs between disk and USB . Please help me if you know how this can be done

Thanks

Press Media button, and select Copy tab. Then select the device, USB or Disk, where you saved your songs. If the files are in a folder, highlight the folder and press Open in the display. Select the file you want to copy. You can also select more files by keeping the Shift button pressed and highlighting the files. To copy the file(s), press Copy To. The other device will appear (USB if you selected Disk, and vice versa). If needed, open the folder where you want to copy to, and press Copy.

Hope this helps.

What is the suffix of the songs you save? .mid?

Or does it make mp3's?

The reason I asked was that the .mid file doesn't do that much for you unless you're going to send it to someone with a PA keyboard maybe or it can be used in a DAW.

Midi files are not sound so not good to show someone your song. You would need to record the sound the keyboard makes to send a song to someone like in an mp3.

It will play on a computer but it will use the voices it has available. So dependent on the playback machine.

Someone was saying they recorded the song on the PA flash then moved it to the computer.

Can the PA record mp3 of itself?

Pa600 can't, and just now I've seen in the specifications that Pa300 can't either. Only Pa900/3XLe/4X.
