Backing up expansions (EX's)

If my Kronos were to require a full reset, or if the hard drive died and needed replacement, how would that work with any expansions that I own? Would I be able to re-download them from Korg's website and install?
Current Gear: Korg Kronos 2 88, Focusrite 18i8, Sonar Platinum, Win 10 64-bit, 8-gig ram

The Public ID of your Kronos would stay the same, so you would just reinstall all purchased EXs using the same authorization codes.
