In combi mode when layering more than one tone how can you add effects
on all the sounds ie Piano&Strings

when putting german grand with effects on channel one effects fine... but when adding strings to channel 2 lost effects on piano... only on strings or vica versa :?:

Each timbre or Program in a Combi can have up to five of its own insert effects (IFX). In addition, all of the timbres in a Combi can collectively be passed through up to two master effects (MFX) and one total effect (TFX).

It's possible to use Copy From Program to copy the original Program effects for each timbre; ensure only the relevant effects boxes are ticked, especially the MFX and TFX boxes.

Hi VoIP I was surprised when I copied the sounds, the effects were on... but when they were both copied the effects cancelled out on the 1st sound ???

You can only have 5 insert effects in a combi ....so if you load one program with all its efx ...then load another program into the combi with its efx checked then they will override the previous ones . Its can be restrictive but with a bit of thought and planning you can usually get good results . For instance...set the mfx to say reverb and chorus . That way you can set the amount of each of those to each program in ur conbi . Then you can get creative with other efx in the insert effects . Hope that doesn't sound too confusing 😵 lol

The manual isn't complex but a lil above my head in some subjects.... Im used to My Motif and Nord manuals where its more user friendly. :D
