It's as if no gigging musician helped design the Kronos.

If we are taking design suggestions, I'd like some cup holders for those long sessions. Actually, one for a coffee cup and the other for a coldy.

speaking of long sessions, I am overdue to complain here.

The Kronos should have a slide out/pop out cot so I can catch up on my naps.

How come they didn't think about that ???

Ummmm. Please forgive me but I don't really see the problem. My K73 travels in and out of my studio, in and out of my Ford Escape, up and down stairs and all this in it's proper road case. Whenever it's a big move I get a band mate to help me. The rest of the time, it's just me, baby and I'm really really old. Out of shape, fat, bald so there's no Samson thing going on.

I just suck it up and schlep it around like all the rest of us!

I wouldn't worry about it too much. It's not like it's a Fender Rhodes.
If music is the food of love, play on and play loud!
Gear: Kronos 73, Wavestation EX, Polysix, King Korg, Monotron and Monotron Duo, Minikorg, Moog Grandmother, my very old MiniKorg, 4 acoustic and 9 electric guitars, 1 Ibanez 5 string bass, a Steel guitar, a bunch of microphones, 2 pairs of studio monitors and other very cool toys, 1 wife and 4 cats and a lava lamp!

What other professional keyboard has handles? I've gigged professionally for 27 years and this is the best live performance keyboard I've ever owned, for countless reasons besides.........handles. [facepalm]

Sorinv that is perfect! I love it!

OP do you live around a saddle tack place? Not for the Kronos but it is simple enough to make a leather harness to lift the baby up. Just keep the pressure off the keys and small straps roll up and store nicely.

I agree with the OP, the Kronos isn't the easiest board to wrap your hands around. Not as bad as an SV1, but yeah, they could have designed it to be more easily grippable. (Though my experience is only with the 1st generation models.)
