The fan community is waiting for it. It is time.
The competition does not sleep.
We would be happy about new features and new sounds.

Disappointment awaits those with high expectations...
And rewards those with none...!
But then, again? It's time!

NAMM is not a place where to expect arranger announcements..

Maybe they will make it a real huge update and jump to 2.0

Considering for a moment this quote above I'm not shore I can agree, working my self in manufacturing which includes the development and production of very high quality products which are only similar from the point of view and ethos of being a premium product which also commands a Premium price like the PA4X, to imply "high expectations" are not important is not helpful, after all this is what drives products like a flagship model the PA4X from Korg to the marketplace and this is because there are high expectation from there customers and im sure korg also still have high expectation when producing some of the best arranger keyboards in the marketplace, if somebody in my Development Team turned round and said to me "disappointment awaits those with high expectations" or encouraged customers to think this way my answer would be..high expectations are key to our survival as a business and our customers are right to have a reasonable and high expectation of what we do, so I don't think this is not unreasonable to have this high expectation considering that the PA4X has been in the marketplace for over a year now and that Korg need to really sort out some of the bugs and problems according to its customers on this forum and beyond which are calling for through out this forum for the release of a much needed firmware update as a remedy, after all are moderator here has politely raised this question in the recent past, so of course the expectation is high because Korg sell them selfs as a company as having high expectations with their products like previous flagship arrangers, so i will say this..in many ways the PA4X is a wonderfully product but not with out its problems and criticisms which im sure are ment to be constructive in there aproch, time is now ticking on and the PA4X is pitched as a professional premium product with high expectations which are important for all concerned. :)

I agree with all you say. As a user of a top of the range product I would expect bugs to be sorted as a matter of urgency and suggested improvements to be considered and if approved added in future updates. Seems like some of these bugs have been around since day one.

well i have wondered why KORG is waiting for an update ,
do they even work on it,? If so , why is this taking so long time, I mean 9 month here with my 4 x, and stil can't save STS as i should .
I do not understand why they use us as Beta Testers.
Can they please do this better and not just make another title bro, to 4 x!

The other thing is - how close is the new Yamaha arranger (Tyros 6??) that is heavily rumoured?

Although Tyros 5 is not a close competitor in my personal opinion, the Tyros 6 might be!!!!

Has anyone seen the Tyros 6 youtube video? It is apparently a beast which has everything that PA4X appears to lack! And as Pete said, it might be the one to replace the "slow to upgrade" PA4X!

When is it slated for arrival?

:D
