Style Request
Has anyone created any new styles that you would care to share. One in particular Im looking for is a Style suited to the song Higher & Higher
Pro Singer/Musician for over 30 Years
I am guessing Higher and Higher by Jackie Wilson/ Rita C.? Great song and on my playlist and perfect choice. Make life easy for yourself...I have converted hundreds of Midi files with the style converter...H & H one of them. Simple to find file on internet, load on flash drive, clearly name, and transfer to Pa. Review some pervious posts concerning this topic. Best of luck and let me know how it goes.
Out there with hundreds of other midi files for free. Do an internet search...Jackie Wilson Higher and Higher midi file...will return several locations but midiworld.com is a safe bet. May sound like crap coming out of the computer, but sounds good out of the Korg sound engine with intro and ending along with 4 variations. I always rename the file correctly before saving it on USB and then load to Korg per manual...midi to style converter...easy.
Everyone's musical tastes differ, but I have loaded over three hundred midi to styles this way. I have fun with Goldfinger, Skyfall, Upon a Time in the West, or James Bond theme from movies, Moody Blues songs, 60's classic rock...Green Eyed Lady or Roundabout...with midi giving me all the rhythm/ drum beat patterns. Pretty much lots of 60's and 70's songs out there. Then, Foreigner and Journey stuff, too. You have to experiment a bit for the right play along sound. Let me know how it goes.
