Korg 2 upgrading from firmware 304 to 312
After downloading the 3.1.2 upgrade path, I extracted the file to my document. Then copied it to my USB stick, plug it in to Kronos. Switched Global and from the dropdown menu as shown in the YouTube tutorial. I keep getting "Error" and I've tried downloading the upgrade path again but keeps getting the same "Error". HELP and any suggestion is welcome. A good day to the Forum.

You mention extracting "file" and copying "it", but 3.1.2 update contains several files and folders - sure you did copy all of them?
Downloaded zip file "KRONOS_Update_3_1_2.zip" contains folder "KRONOS_Update_3_1_2" and all the contents of that folder must be extracted and copied to the root of USB stick (not folder).
Also pay attention, that USB stick must be FAT32 format - formatting on Kronos assures that as mentioned.

upgrade firmware from 304 to 312
Thank you all so much for the quick response.
Here is what I did. After I downloaded the 312 path to the computer, I extracted the zip file and there were 9 folders. I cut and paste one by one of those folders to my usb stick. Since it was the same usb stick I used when I upgraded it before to firmware 304.
Question: The 9 folders that I extracted from the ZIP file, do I still have to extract each of those folders before I copy it to my USB stick?
Again thank you so much for your replies and a good day to you

Your FAT32 formatted USB content should look something like this - here are all needed files and folders listed for 3.1.2. update. Thank you Alland for your most helpful advice. I am doing this update using a Mac but to check off the files I need against your list was really so helpful.
I was having the same problems as Eddie. Now all is resolved, very grateful, I can delve into the quick layers and splits that were advertising the new update on FB.
Regards, JS.
