Korg IS NOT WINDOWS COMPATIBLE.
Korg is not windows compatible. It just isn't.
Their compatibility with ANY Windows Operating System (especially 10) is experimental at best.
They really should not have the rights to say their products are compatible with Windows.

What makes you say that?
For which product?
In which way is it not compatible?
I've never encountered any problems with my XL connected over USB to my windows pc...
Bye.

Hi cemego.
Chances are the amount of Windows users on this forum greatly outnumber OSX users, given that Apple only has a 3% market share of desktop operating systems, and Microsoft has over 90%.
The silence is not because everyone runs OSX here, it's because nobody else has this issue your having with KORG drivers.
Maybe you should reset your PC.
Regards
Sharp.

Sooooooooo, the one thing about window any version is that you can find the driver or .exe and right click on it, go to properties, and select COMPATIBILITY MODE, then select the O/S version that you know your app is supported under and it will dumb down to that version. Also you can install new driver the same way
Synth Wars - The Rise of the ARP 2600, OBX8 Kenobi - The Return of the Synth, MoogClaraVox, Criklon V2, in living color, Moog Model D, Neuman U67, 1961 Hammond C3 Brother of B , PS3300, to Poly Infinity and Beyond !!!
Why do you think that when the only person who seems to be reporting an issue is the original poster? I haven't heard of anyone else complain?ErnstDabest wrote:sound to me that perhaps it is Windows which is not KORG compatible.Sharp wrote:Hi cemego.

Technology has gotten more complex over the past decade, IMO. Its rare when anything works easily the 1st time. I have to study manuals, get tips/help from Youtube, forums.
Plug and play ? Make me laff
Interfacing a keyboard with your PC/mac involves some skill, as troubleshooting is often needed. Folks have different recording requirements across platforms.
I hope this does not sound like whining/complaining. I accept the above as part of learning curve.
