Volta Bass Portamento

I'm using the Volca Bass together with the KingKorg as controller.

The problem is ,the Volca Bass always uses Portamento (glide) between the notes i play and i do not want this to happen.

How can i stop this effect ?

Isn't it a selectable option?

I'm not in front of my documentation right now, but I thought that you could turn it off.

No, you have to do this from a midicontroller.

I use the Kingkorg for this who send midi cc but no sucses at all.

Is slide the only function that is not receiving midi data?

No, i can play the volca from the Kingkorg, so notes on/of is working.

so i am assuming that you have the kingkorg's midi out into the midi in of the volca bass and they are on the same midi channel. Is only note on/off working or can you control other cc parameters on the volca bass with the kingkorg?
