Configuration of Nanopad with KORG PA4X v2

Post by Inzo »

You have an idea of the configuration or adjustments to be carried out on the nanopad2 for
to make recognize by Pa4x_v2 to use Kaoss?
I fiddle with the software Kontrol editor, but the nanopad2 persists remained dumb.
Thank you

I have used and had some fun with my NanoPad 2 connected to my PA4X BUT I have not tried Kaoss with it.... (yet)
KontrolEditor works fine and PA4X seems to respond fine...

You can use any USB port on the PA4X
The NanoPad2 is instantly recognised

The Kronos handles the NanoPad differently in that the top 8 pads are automatically configured to play the Kronos virtual pads for its PROGRAMs and COMBIs

On the PA4X the NanoPad2 responds and works "normally" for all 16 pads.

Hope this helps

Thank you for your answers.
Apparently my nanopad2 is not recognized by the pa4x, because no sound leaves.
I continue my tests.

Make sure your NanoPad is configured to play notes - use the free KontrolEditor from Korg:-

Still thank you Karmathanever

because I used version 1.5 of korg Editor.
I think that this new grinding (1.7) will make it possible the nanopad2 to work with Pa4x.

OK
The nanopad2 functions.
It is an error of my share because I had not addressed the Total mode to the one of the tracks.
Thank you for the assistance.
