Need cable for EC5 pedal

On my EC5 the cable is an integrated part of the pedal

My EC5 is an everyday 6 pin midi cable that detaches from the socket on the pedal.

I thought every day midi cables were 5 pin. ?? The ones I have don't fit.

No, it's not a MIDI cable but it looks a hell of a lot like it.

So its a standard DIN cable... buy the connectors and some 8 cables wire and off you go with a bit of soldering...

(i looked at my Ec5, to find out the cable can be removed, sorry for the wrong information.)

you can cut your old cable and connect directly to the circuit if you still have the old cable...

Thanks, my friend has misplaced the old cable though. If it doesn't turn up we will either make or order one.
I have a backup he can use until then.
