Keyboard set problem

Still getting used to the PA4X after moving from a Yamaha Tyros 5, and am having difficulty with Keyboard Sets.
I know how to load a midi file into Songbook and alter and save a Keyboard set to the song.
My issue is with settings that have been saved in whatever sets were saved with the previous song that was loaded when I selected my new song. For example, I loaded a midi file into Sequencer, fiddled with it then saved it. In Song Play I selected New song and loaded the midi file then saved it into Songbook. I can now load it from Songbook ready to change voices etc.
I have found that when changing voices on either upper 1,2 or 3, the voice doesn\'t sound right and no matter what voice is used it sounds the same.
I remember on the Tyros there was a setting which you could untick to make it forget any settings from a previous registration if you were making a new one. Is there such a thing on the PA4X? Or is there a setting somewhere that would give you a 'clean page' from which to work from?
