Switch lock

Post by ronker »

Hi,
I have a pa4x ver. 2.01 ( international)
I have recently noticed that when I set switch 3 to e.g.
( talk) and lock it in globally then turn keyboard off and back on
Switch 3 is back to blank in global switch settings
This is really annoying having to reset it each time I turn keyboard on
( thanks)

Switch lock

Hi ,
Thanks for that bill that worked a treat, I never came across that
In the manual. My next task is to get the pads to change with each song
In song mode ( of course ) unique to every song. Cheers!

There is a setting that locks the pads. You have to unlock it. I'm not in front of the kb so can't help more right now.

Pad save (song)

Post by ronker »

Yes I made another attempt at saving pads in song mode with the global lock unchecked, writing to keyboard set in songbook and each pad just comes back
Blank (no name) and I've tried the same in style mode and it saves just fine.
I'm starting to think this is a bug

Not a bug, this works fine.
You need to do the following:
- make sure your Songbook Entry is selected, with the correct style
- change pads to your liking
- write the Songbook Entry again with the style checkbox selected (blue).

This will also save the pads with this particular songbook entry.

Pads are not part of the keyboard set, but linked to the style.

Pad lock

Post by ronker »

Hi fransman
It's not writing pads to styles I'm having problems with,
It's pads to pa songs ,midi songs
And it says in the manual you can do this. Thanks!

Pad lock

Hi,
My apologies, I know how it works now .
You have to have the song and keyboard set checked (blue ) before writing
And I was just checking box for keyboard set only before writing.
Thanks for your replies thou😀 Ronker

I'm sorry, I thought you were using a style.
For a song it's the same.

You don't need to check (blue) the Keyboard Set.
Pads are saved with either the song or the style.
