trasnpose on the TR 3

Post by Ellshu »

I see that one can transpose by going
Global
transpose +- etc and then save
Does anybody know if a single combination or program can be transposed to another key, then saved so that it is available without having the entire unit modified globally.

Thanks

If it's the Triton Rack then yes, individual timbres can be transposed. The relevant menu page is Combi P3.1 Pitch. Top row is transpose, in semitones, +ve or -ve, the middle row is pitch, in cents, and the bottom row is pitch bend range, either as defined in the Program, or up to +/- 24 semitones.

OK, thanks for the clarification. The TR and Triton Rack appear to have the same or similar user interfaces, so the suggestion above applies to this instrument also.
