Adding Pitch Wheel Midi to SV1

I am curious about the setup required (if it is even possible) to get the pitch wheel from a Yamaha keyboard to control pitch shift on the SV1.

So far all I have done is

(1) made sure both keyboards where set to midi channel 1
(2) plugged a midi cable from the midi out of my Yamaha to the midi in on the SV1

so far...no luck. Am I missing something obvious or should it be that simple?

Never mind....I got it

Pretty sure it would be easy to add a small midi pitch wheel to an SV1
