Thanks - very interesting!

I do not like to have just one Volca (Vsample) swing while the others do not. Therefor I use as a master clock my MidiPal which then let all Volcas swing in tandem.

According to its manual the MidiPal has following types of shuffle/jitter to apply to the clock:
##swg: swing
##shf: shuffle
##psh: push effect, anticipating the beats
##lag: lag effect, delaying the beats
##hum: humanization
##mnk: monkeyzation

I guess the problem is that the Volcas sync on 8th notes, so the level of detail needed to do 16th note swing, even via external clocks is not there?

My Volca Sample sends swing to my Monologue. All I did was change global parameter 8 on the Sample from the default "once every two steps" to "once a step." Does that not work with the other Volcas receiving sync from the Sample?
