Touch-pad on KP3 no longer works

I havent used it for a while, but I dug it out recently and updated the Firmware to 2.0, now the touchpad no longer responds at all.
I searched in vain to find a way to roll back to 1.03... I did see all the touchpad repair stuff, but mine isnt responding at all, I did reseat the ribbon cable though with no resolve.
Any advice?
