Midi foot controller

Post by Lukebwr »

Hi
I've just started playing a microkorg and I want to add it to my live rig. As I'm a bass player I want to be able to play both at once so I need a midi foot controller I was wondering if anyone's had any experience using foot controllers with it. I've looked in to the keith McMillan 12 step, which is a midi to usb connection ill put a link below. Any help would be much appreciated
Cheers
Luke

The problem of the Keith McMillan 12 step is that it does not have the MIDI DIN out. It means always a PC in between as well. To avoid this you can combine it with the Keith McMillam MIDI expander https://www.keithmcmillen.com/products/accessories/.

Other alternatives with MIDI DIN out straight away:
Studiologic MP-113: https://www.thomann.de/be/fatar_mp113.h ... gJJg_D_BwE
Doepfer MBP25 1 pedal: https://www.thomann.de/gb/doepfer_mbp25 ... _pedal.htm
Doepfer MBP25 2 pedal: https://www.thomann.de/gb/doepfer_mbp25 ... l_135236_4

The Doepfer are not so expensive but come more like a kit to be built in a case.

Have fun
microKORGXL, Kaossilator Pro, monotribe, SQ-1, volca fm, Kross 88 BK
Alesis SR18, Akai Miniak, Fender Strat, Line 6 Spider II 112, Zoom MS-50G
