Korg D3200 Fatal: Unknown error, while burning audio CD-R

Korg D3200 Fatal: Unknown error, while burning audio CD-R

I've had this Korg D3200 hard disc recorder for at least 10 years. Now it has a problem. It will burn a CD to back up a song, but when I try to burn a CD to listen to the song, I get the following message:

Fatal: Unknown Error

I have tried several times with the same result. I can listen to the song with headphones, the song is playing back from the hard drive. I tried a different CD-R, that didn't help. I deleted the song, and re-recorded it; same problem. Long ago, Korg mailed me a Recovery CD, but I would be surprised if that would help, considering what the instruction manual says.

Can anyone help me?
