KORG SV-1 88 PROBLEM

Dear Sirs,

I'd like to raise my problem with my Korg SV-1 88. I'd been using it normally since 25-Apr-2012. The last time I've used it in normal condition was last night, 17-May-2012. When I will use it now, turning on the instrument, the favorite 1 button lights on for long period and there's no sounds at all. I've tried to restore the default settings as per the manual but nothing happens. The instrument still has no sounds and the favorite 1 button still lights on.

Hope, you could help me to this problem, as I wish to continue practicing.

i have the same situation and so upset...
this happened after i tried to update my OS via USB and
the program did freeze..

I have the same/ similar problem. On power up, the LEDs and valve box turn on, but the "8" button flashes. If i press the 8, the 1 lights up, but nothing is responsive. Did you get this resolved? Looks like I'm in for a new main board.

This means, you have deleted your operation system.
Try to connect via USB cable with computer and upgrade your OS.
I also can sell you my motherboard, which works perfectly after
sdram memory replacement for $450.

The 1 and 2 buttons light when I press and hold 1 and 8, but when I press the 1 button to load the os, the 8 button flashes (instead of the 1 button, as per the instructions). Any idea ?
