Kronos SE ?
I saw a post on another site that said this:
“An advertisement was on on Kapro's Facebook wall. It was removed pretty quickly. The ad said " Kapro EXs272 comes with Korg Kronos SE" but all the other Kronos users can buy it from the Korg Kronos Shop"
Is this a slip?

No, I think it meant SE as in "special edition", kind of like a Kronos Extreme then so to speak. And if you look at this Kapro library it seems to be a new orchestral library, which would have to be purchased by all old Kronos users, whereas buyers of the new Kronos SE get it "for free" with their purchase. My guess would be they meant the LE.

As usual, this is all sketchy.marc1 wrote:No, I think it meant SE as in "special edition", kind of like a Kronos Extreme then so to speak. Almost boring right now as there is little pre-NAMM news.

That sounds plausible, except that he could have corrected the typo, instead of deleting the post.drama1 wrote:My guess would be they meant the LE. Perhaps Korg is going to include the Kapro library to boost sales. That would be my guess, but hope I'm wrong. Hopefully a 73/76 semi-weighted action Kronos.

Well, I know it's not good form quoting oneself, but anyways...
You didn't need prophetic senses in order to estimate that Korg would simply try to keep the Kronos exciting for another year. I think in 2020 we will seriously open a new chapter in music history. I more and more happen to think that they will introduce a true Kronos successor with spectacular specs by then.
