Volca Sample Sound Issue!

No sound in song or sequence or sample mode on my new volca sample. It plays fine when played manually. I bought and am using a power cord. So, I don't think that power has to do with the issue. This is a great little machine that I have written samples and turned them into a sequence/song. Just when I am ready to try to start playing instruments to the sequence/song that I made. Then the sound quits working! I have fiddled around with all the knobs and tried to figure out why this is happening. But, with no result.
Is this an issue that has been happening with the volca sample or is this simply user error. Please help and thank you in advance!
