I forgot to mention that often the cables from the synth motherboard to the Floppy Disk drives are exactly just long enough to reach with no extra slack. The floppy disk emulators are about an inch shorter in length than the original floppy drives so you often need an extension cable to make the motherboard cable make the connection.

This is not the case with the Triton Rack but it is the case with the Kawai K5000R and Yamaha RM1X. I wrote Nalbantov about it and they said no one else mentioned it. I am hiighly dubious of that answer.

Anyway there is a dealer on Ebay who does supply 6 inch 34 pin male to femaile extension cables for $8.99. (Why does everyting cost an additional 99 cents?)
He calls himself "CablesOnLine.net." I don't think he is the website "CablesOnLine.com" because I could not find his exension cable there.
