M Audio Midisport anniversary edition. Cause for celebratio?

Hi Forum
Have any users used this midi interface unit successfully with a TE? I picked one up last month but have found it very hit and miss. Ie either playing garbled notes, not recording, not showing all played notes in Ableton piano roll or simply not being recognised..even when connected direct to laptop and not via USB hub. I'm on Windows 10, Internet research (which I guess I should have done pre purchase) suggests Maudio drivers are either not great, not updated regularly or both!

Hi,

I would suggest replacing the USB cable first. Secondly make sure you have the latest midisport driver installed. I use an old midisport 4x4 and it works perfectly with win 10 and OSX.

Thanks for responding Stuart.
I used the supplied cable and downloaded the latest driver but no luck. Will do some more 'net research.
