Sound editing is not really covered in the manual. Best way to learn is by using your ears plus trial and error! But to get you started its best to copy a sound across to a User slot and start experimenting.
Say your sound has just 2 Oscillators (Sound, Menu, Basic, see Oscillator count). Change the Oscillator count to 6 on your new sound then copy those two oscillators (using the dropdown menu) 1 to 3 , 2 to 4, 1 to 5 and 2 to 6.
Limit the velocity ranges (Menu, Basic, Vel/Key zone) to say 1-60 for Osc 1 and 2, 61 to 85 for Osc 3 and 4, 86-127 for Osc 5 and 6 (change both the Velocity Zone and the Scaled Velocity values).
Now check filtering (Menu, Filter, Filter A Frequency) say it was 15 for Osc 1. Then try 10 for Osc 1, 15 for Osc 3 and 30 for Osc 5. Do the same for Osc 2, 4,and 6. (You can listen to the effect by Solo-ing the Osc using the drop down menu) but bear in mind you need to hit the key within the velocity range to hear it - or better still change the range after you are happy with the sound.
This is just to get you started - there is a lot more you can do. For instance if you like the brightening for higher velocities but think it sounds a bit thin then add some Osc EQ.
It might seem a bit daunting but experimentation is the key to success.

Very good explications, somehow I read this after i find that oscilators are linked with amp, freq and more stuff ) bad luck, but i learn new things, and you said something interesting with amp freq, as i saw, osc 1 is the higher, and 16 for me, is the lowest one.
I took a piano from Pa3 converted into pa2/800 and good things here, 12 osc level for piano, pianissimo wasn`t the best so my ideea is next.

I did just the piano itself in 16 osc. Want to add later some virtual layers, for FX.
Have another question, as I see, the new 16 osc piano, somewhere between pianissimo and mediu is some kind of instant volume up, and i don`t know what to check, osc volumes are all desc, Freq, and AMP are desc also. More exactly, if i press the same key with more and more intensity, somewhere at midpoint of the touch senzor the piano sound more louder.

Just to allay any confusion here - the Pa3x cannot import soundfonts (while the Pa4x/1000/700 can import some soundfonts successfully - depending on their complexity)....

Also with Pa3x it is easy to use sf2-samples. With freeware "Polyphone" load sf2 and import it to format "sfz". Importing creates a folder/subfolder containing all samples in "wav"-format that you can import with Pa3x.
Description of parameters for editing the samples are found in sfz-files - rename these files into direct readable textfile (suffix .txt).

Thats interesting information and good to know. I'm familiar with Polyphone and in fact I used it to normalise and loop the Yamaha C5 samples.

Have you ever tried the combination Wavelab-Samplerobot(+Waverobot)+Awave Studio?
You can do the whole sequence of tasks in highly pro level.

Hello, i just download this piano sounds and it just sounded really great . Thank you so much for your effort sir!!

But i just wondering 1 thing, so you see, the piano sounded really great as i play the note higher but as i play lower, it sounded kinda weird like some cracky sound(i dont know how to explain). So, am i doing wrong here or do i need to do something? But overall it sound really great!, the only thing i have problem with is the low note sounds.

I am not getting that problem. I’d try deleting all multisamples and re-install to see if it fixes the problem. Back up first.

Could you also guide and if it's feasible post a tutorial on how we create our custom sounds on Korg Pa series ?? I am very new to the Korg keyboards and have some basic idea of sound design on the PC and using software synths .But how do we do it on the Korg ??
Will be really grateful if you could kindly explain or point to some resources in creating our own sounds . Going through the manual but could really use some guidance

I'm glad you like it. These C5 Grand samples were available on the net under Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 (Basically no restrictions to use). The trick was to get them in a size and format compatible to the Korg. I did a lot of sound editing and Antony Sharmann helped with the conversion to Korg.
It is no small task starting with your own samples. I suggest you get comfortable with editing some of the factory sounds to get familiar with what is going on before looking to import samples - which is way more complicated.
There are a few videos on Youtube about editing the Pa4x sounds and you will find the other models (Pa3x/700/1000) are very similar in operation.
Get familiar with Oscillator basics (Osc count, copying across from other sounds and things like filters and Amps to modify the sound). Provided you save your work to a User Sound you will not upset the factory sounds - but do a Save All before starting as a backup.
