Audio Gate 4 - anyone using it?

Post by Kevin Nolan »

I recently downloaded the new Audiogate 4 release but when I try to run it it only lets me run a lite version with few capabilities.

Anyone running the full version of AudioGate 4 and if so how did you register it?

Sharp - realise this may not be the place for this post but posted it here as it pertains to an update of a previous version of Audiogate that ran fine. Will understand if you move this post to somewhere else on the site.

Thanks,
Kevin.

Hi Jerry, are you saying this this software can't be used on it's own without the Korg hardware?

I'm going back a while - but I remember Korg releasing the software as a free software only product. did that change at some juncture?

The reason I'm interested in it is as a handy tool given its supreme quality in so many areas - but perhaps the definition of what it is as a product has changed to require the Korg Hardware you mention?

Hi Kevin.
If you look at the link Jerry gave you, it explains the difference between the limitations for people who didn’t buy a KORG 1-bit product.

Regards
Sharp.

HI Sharp -

I can see that!

My question is - did Korg change this from the past? I don't remember there being a "lite" versions or associate limit in the past. When I mean "used on its own" I mean the full featured software, not the lite version which is hardly worth it.

Are there plans to improve the graphic interface of AudioGate so that we have a presentation like the media center. Difficult to navigate when you have a lot of files.

Look at the affiliations of the poster. It's a nonsense post to gain visibility in search engines. A spam posting, basically.
