How to Assisgn SW1 to Mono/poliphony ?

Post by rockappalla »

Hi everybody, I just got a used KROME,
I downloaded a very good lead sound (sherinian style lead),
however I'd like to assign SW1 to change the poliphony,
I want to be able to switch from mono to poly with the switch, is it possible? how do you do it?

Thanks for your help!!

Hi Luca, we don't have the Mono to Poly as AMS , so no way to have this changed in a program. Use a combi, layer the mono sound and poly sound to the same MIDI Ch. Rout the Mono sound to IFX 1- Limiter and control the gain with SW to -inf. Rout the poly sound to the IFX 2 - Limiter, control the gain to same SW from -Inf to + 35-40 db or so... Now can check the switch to mono poly.
Other way, prepare two programs , one (mono) > SW control the output level (Filter Out) from normal to 00, other programs (Poly) control the output level from 00 to 99. Now put these programs in the layer combi.
