No Sound after playing background beats

Post by Livelifetb »

1. I turn PA700 on
2. I play notes - sound comes
3. I select and start background beat
4. I play the notes - sound comes
5. I stop background beat using start/stop button.
6. I can't play notes - no sound comes out.
7. I select and start background beat again
8. I play the notes - sound comes

Why no sound when i stop background music?

No Sound after playing background beats

Post by midimusa »

Few years ago i had same question: http://www.korgforums.com/forum/phpBB2/ ... p?t=114635.
Short answer is:
In Global -> Mic Setup -> Talkover set the Backround music level to 100%.

In Korg manual it is described:
Use the Background Music Level control to set the level to which the volume
of all Sounds (Keyboard, Style, Player, Pad…) will be reduced when TalkOver
is engaged. 100% corresponds to no level reduction.

Maybe that helps.
Korg PA1000.

If the Talk setting is set to automatic, in other words if it engages automatically when the style stops, and the Talk setting is set to zero, that would explain the problem.
