Chord Mode - Voice Leading?

I'm wondering if the i3's Chord Mode does any kind of intelligent voice leading. The other keyboards I've heard that have a similar function did not. I'm aware that any such algorithm would be limited by the fact that it can't know what chord the user will choose next. (There is a software program I've seen, Scaler, that does an OK job of approximating voice leading with a feature called "Dynamic Grouping;" probably it does this by calculating one chord change at a time.)
