Pa4X next INTERNATIONAL, ORIENTAL, MUSIKANT

I know this is a recurring subject, but I still have doubts about this.

When I read those three models' specs on the german Korg website I see some differences which I would like to confirm with actual owners who already upgraded to the latest OS version 3.1.0.

These are the differences I've found on Korg's website:

1) Sounds / Drumkits

INT -> Factory (1900 Sounds / 110 Drumkits) - User (768 Sounds / 384 Drumkits)
ORI -> Factory (2000 Sounds / 150 Drumkits) - User (768 Sounds / 384 Drumkits)
MUS -> Factory (2156 Sounds / 139 Drumkits) - User (512 Sounds / 128 Drumkits)

2) Styles

INT -> Factory (+580 Styles) - User, Favorite, Direct (1248 Styles)
ORI -> Factory (+700 Styles) - User, Favorite, Direct (1872 Styles)
MUS -> Factory (+570 Styles) - User, Favorite, Direct (1248 Styles)

3) Keyboard Set Library

INT -> Factory (+500 Keyboard Sets) - User, Direct (1056 Keyboard Sets)
ORI -> Factory (+500 Keyboard Sets) - User, Direct (1584 Keyboard Sets)
MUS -> Factory (+340 Keyboard Sets) - User, Direct (1056 Keyboard Sets)

4) KAOSS FX

INT -> Yes
ORI -> Yes
MUS -> No mention at all

5) MIDI

INT -> 16 User-definable MIDI Presets
ORI -> 16 User-definable MIDI Presets
MUS -> 8 User-definable MIDI Presets

I can't believe the Musikant model, being the most expensive, has lower numbers in most cases. Also, it makes no sense Musikant has no KAOSS FX either. I think it's simply because Korg didn't update the "Musikant next" specs page.

I't would be nice if one INT owner, one ORI owner, and one MUS owner (only OS v3.1.0 users please) check whether these figures are correct or not and reply to this message with the actual specs.

Welcome to the forums

May I recommend that you download the latest "NEXT OS" version of the 3 User Manuals - all the info is there including KAOSS in the MUSIKANT manual.

Thank you @karmathanever. I referred to the latest user manual specs but the link to the english Musikant user manual redirects to the international user manual. The same happens with Oriental version. However, the german Musikant user manual is specific for that model, although I'm not sure whether it is up to date or not because as opposed to the other manuals, the german Musikant user manual doesn't show the "next" label anywhere. I couldn't find any specific manual for the Oriental version though.

So this is the updated list of differences according to the latest manuals.

Now the figures make more sense, though I still think the german Musikant user manual is not updated.
