Upgrading from OS 3.0.1 to OS 3.1.0

The PA4X keyboard I purchased last year came with OS 3.0.1 installed.

I want to upgrade to OS 3.1.0. The installation instructions for OS 3.1.0 say that you must have a version of OS 2.x.x installed on your keyboard. There is no mention of the possibility to upgrade from OS3.0.1

My question is this: Must I first downgrade my keyboard to OS 2.2.0 and then perform the OS 3.1.0 upgrade? If so, what is the correct procedure to downgrade from OS 3.0.1 to OS 2.2.0 ?

Hi,

i believe that OS 2.x.x is the lowest version for Pa4x directly upgradable to OS 3.1.0. So you can upgrade drectly to 3.1.0.

Downgrade is not necessary.
Just make upgrade directly from 3.0.1 to 3.1.0. This is the right way.
The whole process is quick and and easy to perform.

Now upgraded successfully to OS3.1.0 and loaded Pete's excellent compilation of all Korg Styles. Memories of my previous Pa2x are returning ... the sounds on the Pa4x are very very good. The pianos are best in class ... much better than many electronic instruments branded as pianos.

My Pa4x is a 61 note keyboard. Next thing I want to find is a very simple 88 note weighted key MIDI controller keyboard with a large flat surface on which I can directly place my Pa4x ... any suggestions?
